Q&A: six meals a day how big should the meals be?

Question by scfc 606: six meals a day how big should the meals be?
hi im currently bodybuilding and i wanna know about the six meals can it be three meals like breakfast lunch dinner and 3 snacks two whey protein shakes and a yogurt and a apple or does it have to be 6 meals.
im 5 ft 7 and weigh 115 pounds if that helps(8 stone 3) if i got the pounds estimate wrong.

Yes, it can certainly be 3 meals, 2 whey protein drinks and a healthy snack meal.
Hi-protein is the key for bodybuilding, with moderate (not low) fats and low carbs. The carb intake will be based on the level of bodyfat you currently have, if you need to drop bodyfat/have a tendency to put fat on, then your carbs will be kept a lot lower than someone who is underweight.
Eat clean, which basically means eat healthy, non-processed, natural foods. Avoid alcohol and do not smoke.
I cannot be any more precise in a forum like this and without knowing your body type.
Training is important but nutrition is absolutely key to get the body you want so get a good book and study hard.

Bodybuilding meals at the office?

Question by Mark C: Bodybuilding meals at the office?
I’m quite lucky that my employer doesn’t mind me eating at my desk whenever I want, but I try to keep preparation time to a minimum so not to take advantage.

Usually I will have 3 meals at work… 11am 1pm and 4pm. These meals usually consist of a good portion of chicken breast, turkey steak or tined tuna, mixed with 1/2 can of soup (not cream of), backed beans of spaghetti hoops. I just heat the 1/2 can up in the microwave in a bowl and add the tuna or pre cooked and chopped chicken/turkey.
Any other suggestions of good meals that can be pre prepared and are high in protein that I can take from the fridge straight to the microwave?

kidney beans and chick peas are a good bet. mix them up with a salsa or with some other vegetables and thats a pretty good meal.
